Training Location The NSA swimmers train in a heated indoor pool. The pool has 6 lanes of 25 metres and is situated on the premises of the Israel Patrick Dynambo Police College. The College lies in the Olympia, southern Windhoek. The pool is up to 4m deep and so also provides training possibilities fo divers.
A small gym room is used for dryland training. Equipped with swim specific equipment it is used for warm up as well as for weight sessions. Heating for the pool is provided through a modern solar system as well as additional electric heating so that we can guarantee 28° C throughout the year.
 
To offer even better service we are currently building an office. Next to the pool we have a large gym for additional dryland activities. In the summer months we also make use of the local 50m outdoor facilities to prepare our competitive swimmers for long course events. |
